Day 27

So I don't know what it is about the weekends that makes me incapable of blogging on time. It's not like I do much more on the weekends than the week days but oh well.

Yesterday was Portobello Road. It's a big market over near Notting Hill Gate. I'm pretty sure at the beginning of Notting Hill when Hugh Grant is talking about how the streets are full of vendors and such, he's talking about Portobello Road. I haven't watched it though so I don't really remember.

Aaron and I had a lot of fun browsing through all the stands and tables. It's hard to buy stuff though because we have so much time to come back later and get it. They did have crepes though which were amazing. I had one with chocolate and bananas. It was really good. I'm really starting to warm up to the food here now that I am beginning to find it and I feel like I've said this already...

But I found a really cool handmade leather journal with a little theater mask on it so I might splurge and get it.

So we spent a couple hours there and then made plans to meet up with Laura and Mila (who is visiting from Spain...she goes to Babson too). To kill time we stopped at a Cafe Nerro which is like a Starbucks chain here. Not a bad latte and of course the conversation was as always delightful.

We decided to do a Mexican night so while Mila and Laura went to look at some sights Aaron and I went to the big grocery store and got Fajita Supplies. One of the best meals yet. After we went to a pub and got ice cream.

Ugh gotta head out though.
